Perspectives

John Hinderaker at Power Line is absolutely right: "Every time time a new poll is released, it is trumpeted as documenting a new low in the President's approval rating". The reality of numbers is different, though. And Bush "is not in a great position going into his last two years, but not in a terrible position, either". Mr. Prodi, in Italy, is performing much worse (after six months, not six years). And nobody is trumpeting anything.

Guardian (of the Islamic Revolution)

According to Ali Ansari, on the Guardian, the "honeymoon" with Ahmadinejad and Iranian citizens is over. But US "hawks" are helping Mad Mahmoud to retain power. A weird theory that doesn't convince Ed Morrissey and Jules Crittenden.
